The left arm is involved with the future or energy coming toward you and your physical body. The right arm is involved with the past or energy leaving the body. The back side of the left arm integrates the unconscious being with the front of the arm and the conscious being. The left arm navigates this space-time and allows for the left side of the body to be included in incoming conscious energy, as well as, outgoing unconscious energy in the back of the body.

This gives the being living in the body an opportunity to bring consciousness to unconsciousness with a wave of the arm. The left hand chakra is the end point of the creative channel that runs up the front of the body and exits the arm.

This energy center determines what incoming energy you are able to connect with and use in your ongoing creative endeavors. It literally chooses what you want to use to create your every moment and pulls energy up the arm so you have the necessary energies to create change. The elbow charka in the left arm needs to have a clear understanding of this energy for it to be available for use in the creative process.

The forearm on the left senses a need to embrace the energy incoming or not, while the upper arm connects by reference to similar feelings held from previous experiences. All these factors weigh in to finalize the resulting process assigned to the possible incoming energy off to the left of the body.

This is a factor playing into why some people seem more creative than others, the arm tells the story. Everyone is creative, that is all you really do in this body is create.

However, if you are not in affinity with what you are creating then you have to check in with the fourth chakra and see what is going on there, because the creative channel passes through this area on its way to the arms, as well as the second and third chakras.

The right arm is where you choose to release the energy drawn in by the left arm. By the time the energy is released by the right arm it is the past, a done deal. Conscious energy is on the front of the arm and unconscious energy is on the back of the arm. It is here in the right arm that the unconscious part of your being migrates into your conscious experience by what you actually create. Just like the left arm, the elbow needs to have a rational and clear understanding of what you are creating.

The upper arm will dial in through the feelings you have that are similar and the forearm will need to embrace the process. The energy center of the right hand will release the creative energy depending upon how the rest of the arm responds to the information including the left arms intake of future time available energy. The left arm, as well as, the left side of the body receives incoming future time possibilities in the form of data or information.

The right arm and right side of the body releases past time outgoing creative reality as a process of events. The wrist on both arms is the final consideration before creation and will veto anything that is not a true representation of all the areas of the arm and the creative channels. The arms are a very complicated energy dynamic complementing the physical body and will always reflect your current creative ability or not.

Any arm problem, pain or discomfort indicates an interruption of the creative flow. Paying attention to what you are doing helps the energy centers of the arm provide you with a creation that truly represents your intentions.

This is because when one is blocked, the other chakras begin to compensate for it and either become overactive or underactive. Main Navigation. As Reiki energies flow between the practitioner and the recipient during the Reiki session, the two bodies may respond or react with particular sensations. Those sensations are nearly always pleasant. You may feel heat, warmth, cold, subtleness, steadfastness, or forcefulness.

The fact that you can feel Reiki flowing, whether you are giving or receiving it, is verification that the energy is being welcomed. Reiki works like a thermostat that regulates the body. Much like a furnace that automatically turns on and off to regulate the temperature, Reiki flows slowly or rapidly-as needed—to dispense balancing energies.

Like a pendulum swinging back and forth, Reiki sometimes moves erratically, other times smoothly. These fluctuations of ki energy churning within us can often be felt as pins-and-needles tingling, hot flashes, goose bumps, chills, throbbing, etc.

During a Reiki treatment, both the Reiki practitioner and the recipient may feel Reiki sensations. The recipient frequently feels sleepy and yawns repeatedly as incoming Reiki energies soothe and calm pent-up emotional tension and stress.

You may experience any of the following sensations during a Reiki session: heat or coolness, pins-and-needle tingling, vibrational buzzing, electrical sparks, numbness, throbbing, itchiness, and sleepiness.

Some people are more in tune with their bodies than others and will be able to share fantastic stories about feeling the different sensations that occur while using Reiki. Reiki sensations can be very subtle and may be overlooked, but with continued practice most people will begin to notice even the slightest shifts of energy. A few people will seldom, if ever, feel anything with Reiki beyond the tactile sensation of hands-to-body touch. Fortunately, Reiki works whether you feel it or not.

If you are having difficulty feeling sensations while giving a Reiki treatment, try closing your eyes. Keeping your eyes shut eliminates visual distractions, which will help you focus more on the person and the sensations. It is often taught that after receiving your Reiki Level I attunements you will develop hot hands. Having hot hands is supposedly a credible sign that the attunement worked and that you are now officially a channel for Reiki.

Experiencing hot hands may very well indicate that Reiki has been awakened and you are now a genuine, functioning Reiki conduit. But if you do not experience hot hands, does that indicate nothing has happened and that your attunement was a failure? Not at all. Being told that you need to experience hot hands or that your experience was somehow deficient because it was different from that of others is greatly misleading.

Always wash your hands with soap and water before applying Reiki. Avoid fragrant soaps and lotions, especially if the person you are treating may be allergic to the aromatic chemicals used in those products. If your hands are naturally cold, briskly rub your palms together for several seconds to warm them up before beginning treatment.

For some Reiki practitioners, hand temperature may change as they are giving Reiki treatments. These changes range from burning hot to icy cold. Or, it may be that you are experiencing cold hands, while the recipient may comment on the warmth of your hands. Here is an experience that is not at all uncommon. Some Reiki recipients may feel that additional practitioners are participating in the Reiki session.

For instance, one woman reported that during a one-on-one session with the Reiki practitioner, she had felt two additional pairs of hands placed upon her body. Maureen J. Kelly, author of Reiki and the Healing Buddha, says the sensations of the hands that Reiki practitioners experience can be explained by the Chinese philosophy of yin and yang. If the hands are cold, the body has too much yin energy. The pulsating sensation of Reiki can be felt in all parts of your body, but especially in the palms of your hands.

This is because the palms are the outlets of Reiki energy. Reiki is like an anxious mother waiting at the door with open arms for her children to come home. Reiki wants to flow out of your hands and be put to good use.Last Updated: December 21, Most people are familiar with the 7 chakras that run up the center of the body, but there are minor chakras as well, such as the hand chakras. Even though they are considered as secondary chakras, the energy centers located in the palm of our hands are powerful tools of perception and healing.

Hands are the centers for multiple chakras. The primary chakras are located in the center of each palm. Others are said to be located at each joint, which make hands particularly useful channels for energy healing. The palm chakras are the focal point for the hand meridians. Healers have differing views on how to classify the hand chakras; some see them as primary chakras, others consider them as concentrated energetic fields in charge of transmitting energy from other chakras. For instance, healing work often involves the hands as primary means to feel, give, and receive energy.

Healers may channel energy through and from other chakras, such as the root chakra and earth energy, or heart chakra and love. Just like the other chakras, the centers of energy location in your hands are what allow you to interact with the world on an energetic level. They allow healing energy to flow both in and out and are associated with the act of giving and receiving.

Healthy hand chakras manifest as openness, creativity and confidence as you move through the world. They are usually associated with the color red or gold, although their shade and radiance may vary depending on the type of channeled energy.

Open hand chakras are essential for energy healing. If they are blocked or imbalanced, energy flow from the healer will be weak or inconsistent. Reiki and other energy healing modalities use hand positions to help energy get where it is needed, but blocked hand chakras make that difficult. For self-healing, the same problems arise. Blocked hand chakras create a closed system rather than an open one, preventing energy from flowing freely through your body and getting where it needs to go.

In addition, chakra hand positions, or mudras, can help balance the major chakras in the body. Blocked hand chakras will prevent these mudras from being effective. There are several methods for opening your hand chakras. One of the simplest is simply holding your hands in water.

If possible, use a natural body of water such as a stream or a lake, but a bowl of water will work. As you let your hands rest, imagine the water gently washing away any blockages you might have and replacing them with bright, flowing energy.

Another useful exercise comes from Reiki. The heart chakra is the center of transformation that bridges the gap between our human and soul form. When we experience the heart chakra awakening, our consciousness, and perception of world shifts.

The heart chakra is the fourth chakra and is located in the center of the chest. It marks the transition between the first lower and upper chakras.

One of the reasons why the heart chakra is important is because many people are now experiencing the heart chakra awakening. In this article, I talk about the heart chakra awakening symptoms at the basic level. However, one could go into this topic much deeper, and I probably will in future articles.

In that process, that can also be confusing, I found my inner guidance, and only much later, I understood that the heart chakra awakening was the part of the 7-stage inner transformation that I now teach about. I believe that the greatness of this sacred process goes beyond what we can now perceive. The zero stage is related to the cry for help stage of the transformation journey. Something deeper is missing. The conversations with people get shallow. You withdraw from people, and you may even feel apathetic.

In the past, the adepts for initiation practiced daily for many years to awaken their consciousness. The awakening used to happen only to selected groups of people throughout the planet.

Tingling sensations in the feet

However, this has changedand the awakening is available to anyone willing to listen and do the inner work. There is usually a trigger for the heart chakra awakening to take place. It may have happened in your yoga class or during meditation.

Or you met someone who awakened your heart chakra. The sensations of bliss that you feel in the center of your chest are the true you. It is possible to keep your heart chakra open constantly and to merge yourself more and more with the Source energy. If someone else opened your heart chakra, then you may assume that you and that person are meant to be.

I call these people heart-openers because they crack the walls around our hearts wide open. You can read about my story and my hear-opener in my memoir, Find Yourself. When you project your romantic expectations on that person, you may suffer as they might not feel it the same way. Moreover, they may not be aware of their role as a catalyst for your awakening. If this is your case at the moment, then it may be beneficial to redirect the energy of unconditional love back on yourself and use it to heal emotional wounds and limiting beliefs.

You may also feel love for more people at once, or you even experience love for all the living beings on a planet. This may be challenging as it clashes with our perceptions of how love should look like and that it should be exclusive.

The heart chakra awakening happens for YOU to heal and clear out the old templates of belief systems. There are physical symptoms related to the heart chakra awakening. Some of these symptoms are:. But if you also feel the unconditional love or the sensation of bliss, then it probably will be combined with those and similar sensations at the beginning.

The reason for these sensations is that your body is getting used to the high frequencies of what we understand as unconditional love or Source energy. New structures of light need to be created in and around your physical body; thus you may feel the related pain or uneasiness.

The heart chakra awakening is also a spiritual awakening. Your spiritual sight opens up, and you become a seeker of deeper truth. Changes that used to scare you become exciting — maybe too much as people often tend to change their lives entirely at once.

Your consciousness changes, and you question your beliefs and thoughts. As if someone would grant you a new way of thinking in a short period of time, and you let go of many limiting beliefs. The Chakra Energy System functions as a conduit through which divine energy passes into the spiritual and physical body.

Without these energy portals, you would cease to exist because all energy comes from the Universal Source and is not derived from your own being. Now, there are many of these energy centers located throughout your body. Traditionally there are seven major chakra. These seven energy portals rest at various points along the body: the base of the spine, the sexual, the solar plexus, the heart, the throat, the brow, and the crown above the head. However, despite these seven, there are more that need to be examined.

In this chapter we will start with the energy center that is left out, but is just as important as those seven. This center is the foot chakra, and let's call this center the zero chakra, just to keep with the conformity of the present chakra numbering system. In a physical sense, the foot chakra is actually a split energy center, with each half sitting in the ball of each foot. If you were to place your feet together, these centers would seem to combine and make a complete energy center.

However, regardless of whether the feet are physically next to each other, these split-centers, on each foot, are always linked and are always complete. Now, the foot chakra is an important center in that it is here that divine energy returns back to the Source. It is the last point at which the energy is a part of you. Traditional thinking places the base chakra as this grounding point; however, that reasoning is not entirely correct.

You see! The base or root chakra's function is more than just a grounding center. It actually functions as an energy transformation point where divine energy gets slowed down so that it can pass into the Earth quickly and effortlessly.

While the base chakra does the actual conversion, it does not do the actual passing of the energy. Furthermore, the energy at the foot chakra remains elusive because this chakra, and the energy contained in it, has been nearly transformed into an Earth-based energy.

Chakra Descriptions

Hence, as far as you can tell, the last place you perceive energy movement in the chakra system is at the base chakra, so you assume that no other major energy centers exist below it. For example, if you could x-ray your energy centers and observe the energy stream as it enters from top, you would follow this energy as it slowly changed its form, as it passed from chakra to chakra. On this hypothetical x-ray, you would watch as the color shifted from the upper vibrations toward increasingly lower vibrations, as it passed from one chakra to the other.

From the base chakra to the foot chakrayou would not see a corresponding shift in color or be able to distinguish it from the background color of the Earth itself. However, if you were to adjust this x-ray a bit and examine for a flow of energy, instead of a color shift, you would notice a concentrated stream of energy reaching down from the base chakra and going into the foot chakra, where it would then swirl around for a bit and pass on into the Earth and back to ALL-THAT-IS.

This swirling at the foot chakra is important and is a result of the amount of blocked up energy that can't freely pass into the Earth, and it is here the next part of our discussion begins. An ideally, fully-open foot chakra would have no swirling whatsoever in it.Usually signs of a healer too if you have cold or very hot feet all the time. That tingling sensation is the energy.

So I just read what your thoughts are on the energetic front, and let me tell you, besides the I am incredibly lost. Toxic relationships and arguments are bound to happen — sometimes for our unconscious benefit so we can learn Things in my life are literally repeating.

If you awaken and become aware of this how can you not Hi, let me just say I love you advice and information that you share with others, it really starts I am having heavy energy movements ion the foot and not able to sleep properly! Tried lots of grounding techniques but couldnt find a solution yet! In my personal opinion the best grounding techniques are really about working on your Root Chakra. A lot of the energy shifts are about letting go and surrendering to the flow, rather than resisting the process.

I know easier said than done but it does help by identifying what you are resisting and how to push yourself beyond that. You must be logged in to post a comment. Founder, Ashley Aliff.
